- by Ilona K.
On May 6-9, 2024, it.com Domains joined the ICANN (The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers) Contracted Parties Summit in Paris, France, to engage and address the important issues of the domain name industry.
ICANN organizes the Contracted Parties Summit annually. The event gives participants the opportunity to discuss important issues in the domain industry, share their ideas and experiences, and establish connections.
ICANN is a non-profit organization created to regulate issues related to domain names. All decisions made by the corporation are previously discussed with representatives of the Internet community, business and government authorities of various countries, which is why its events are so important in the industry.
Joe Alagna, Director of Sales, and Tess Diaz, Director of Channel Development, represented it.com Domains at the event. They met with one of the most influential people in the domain name industry over the week.
This summit is important because we are now developing our Registry Services Provider (RSP) product, and ICANN’s window for new gTLD applications is planned for 2026. We were there with a compelling offer!
said Joe Alagna.
This year it.com Domains was one of the sponsors of the event, along with companies such as Afnic, Netbeacon Institute and Identity digital.
it.com Domains was making great strides at ICANN’s annual CP Summit, this year it was held in Paris, France. We were cementing old relationships and building new ones,
added Joe.
